Murdock Law recently won a bench trial in Milwaukee County. Anthony Murdock represented a property owner who was accused of falsely advertising his property by the seller. The Judge concluded that the seller had not misrepresented the condition of the property on the real estate condition report. The Judge further concluded that the buyer had breached the contract by failing to close on the property entitling Murdock’s client to the earnest money as damages.
This was a hard fought case but we could not be more pleased with the outcome.
